It's a story of tragedy, tenacity, and triumph starring Sally Fields, Danny Glover, and Ed Harris. The setting is deep in south Texas during the height of the great depression.
There is a scene where a bank officer with a strong Texas draw refers to Danny Glover's character as "that neegra Moses".
Dani immediately suggested that he had said a bad word.
