Horseback riding

Thanks to Maryland DDA and Case Manager "Ms. Emma", Dani has a weekly appointment with Rainbow, a horse of large proportion and gentle disposition.

Rainbow makes her home at nicely appointed Worthmore Equestrian Center near Still Pond, Md. and is a card carrying (not exactly) member of KART & MATRA.

Instructor Marco, ever patient and always close by, has Dani go through various maneuvers with her horse, most of which stimulate memory, focus, and balance.

We have seen progress in Dani's riding skills, but of special interest is the fact that Dani can remember Marco's name. He's the first new aquaintance that Dani's memory has retained "post trauma".
